This strawberry spread is one we are bringing back from 2014 to celebrate our 10th anniversary. We simmer just harvested strawberries with dried bay leaves. It sounds unusual, but the bay leaves add a delicious herbal note that complements the sweet strawberries perfectly! We like this one on toast or gourmet PB&Js but, like all our spreads, it goes great with cheeses. When you have just a spoonful left in your jar, add some olive oil and vinegar and shake up a fruity salad dressing!
